We’ve teamed up with saltwater fly fishing legend Bob Clouser to offer a unique day of personal instruction designed to build a foundation for beginners and help experienced anglers take their skills to the next level.Â
Each day begins with a group casting clinic where anglers can get tailored assistance with their cast and learn tricks for casting different types of saltwater flies in a variety of conditions. Perfect your loops and unlock cast distance and accuracy — skills that will help you master any fishery.Â
Bring your own fly rod, or test the SAGE Salt R8 fly rod, the latest saltwater outfit from the heralded brand.
After a hot lunch at the Lodge, instruction resumes with knot tying. Learn basic fly fishing knots and advanced approaches to setting up your terminal tackle for an array of saltwater applications.Â
You’ll finish the day with a fly tying clinic where you’ll learn how to tie the world-famous Clouser minnow and other highly productive saltwater patterns. This is a rare opportunity to engage one-on-one with a true innovator of the sport.Â
We'll have a handful of loaner vises available, but if you have one you'd like to use, please bring it! All materials will be provided.
